Easy and Fast directions:
NYS Thruway to exit #20 (mile marker 101). Then East 1 mile to the Village of Saugerties - Follow trolley and/or parking signs to Cantine Field/Garlic Festival in the village. (See below for the Traffic and Trolley map.) Note that when you're coming to the festival from the NY State Thruway, the days of the festival, State and local police will direct you almost immediately from the Thruway exits to locations where you should park.

If instead you are arriving into Saugerties from Routes 9W or 32, you should print the Traffic and Trolley map (link below) and use it as a guide for where to park . . . ideally near a trolley stop.

Also:

• Saugerties is 100 miles north of New York City and 42 Miles South of Albany
• NY State Routes 9W, 212 and 32 all meet in the Village of Saugerties
• Saugerties' Esopus Creek joins the Hudson River at a point 8 miles north of the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge and 12 miles south of the Rip Van Winkle Bridge on the west bank of the Hudson River.
